The Organization:

At Boxie, we’re passionate about creating innovative and impactful pet care solutions that make everyday life easier for pets and their owners. As a fast-growing manufacturing company, we are proud to blend high standards, cutting-edge products, and a mission-driven culture that continues to evolve.

The Position:

You’ll oversee both Supply & Demand Planning and Customer Operations (Fulfillment & Logistics), ensuring one cohesive plan that balances service, cost, and working capital. Beyond coordination, this role is deeply analytical and hands-on: you’ll dig into data, build dashboards, and use insights to drive decisions across our outsourced network. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role suited for a data-driven supply chain leader who’s comfortable moving between strategic planning and tactical execution in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Success in this role looks like:

  • A clear, data-driven S&OP plan that leadership trusts.
  • Real-time visibility into supply, demand, and inventory metrics.
  • Proactive identification of risks and opportunities using analytics.
  • Reliable execution from co-mans and 3PL partners with minimal escalations.
  • A small, empowered supply chain team operating with precision and clarity.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Ownership

  • Own Boxie’s end-to-end supply chain strategy, integrating sales forecasts, production plans, and fulfillment execution into one unified, data-backed plan.
  • Lead the S&OP cycle and ensure leadership alignment around demand, supply, and inventory targets.
  • Translate growth initiatives, product launches, and customer requirements into executable supply and logistics plans.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Manage and mentor the Supply & Demand Planner and Customer Operations Manager, fostering ownership, accountability, and analytical thinking.
  • Ensure clear handoffs between planning and execution, grounded in shared data visibility.
  • Build a culture of proactive communication and continuous improvement across the team and partners.

Data & Analytics Leadership

  • Serve as the data owner for Boxie’s supply chain — maintaining accuracy, consistency, and visibility across systems (ERP, 3PL, EDI, and BI tools).
  • Pull, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources (ERP, 3PL dashboards, sales portals, and data lakes).
  • Build and maintain visual dashboards in Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms to monitor KPIs and enable fast, informed decision-making.
  • Use analytics to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities in demand variability, fill rate, inventory health, and freight cost.
  • Partner with Finance and IT to enhance data connectivity, reporting automation, and forecasting accuracy.

Supply & Demand Planning Oversight

  • Ensure accurate forecasts, feasible supply plans, and right-sized inventory levels.
  • Approve production schedules, inventory targets, and safety stock policies.
  • Monitor performance vs. plan and drive corrective actions in partnership with co-mans and 3PL.

Customer Operations & Logistics Oversight

  • Oversee order fulfillment, logistics, and 3PL service execution to meet customer OTIF targets.
  • Monitor freight and compliance performance through data dashboards; proactively resolve risks or exceptions.
  • Support the Customer Operations Manager in optimizing 3PL workflows and carrier utilization.

Partner & Vendor Management

  • Manage relationships with co-manufacturers, 3PLs, and logistics partners; negotiate contracts and SLAs.
  • Lead quarterly business reviews with key partners using data-driven performance insights.

Performance Tracking & Continuous Improvement

  • Own and report key supply chain KPIs:
  • Forecast Accuracy (MAPE)
  • OTIF (On Time, In Full)
  • Inventory Turns & Days of Supply
  • 3PL Accuracy & Service Levels
  • Freight Cost per Unit Shipped
  • Working Capital in Inventory
  • Data Accuracy & Reporting Timeliness
  • Use data analysis to identify systemic improvements in forecasting, inventory management, and fulfillment efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in supply chain, demand/supply planning, or logistics, ideally in CPG or consumer products.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent).
  • Experience working with data lakes, ERP systems (NetSuite preferred), and EDI platforms (SPS Commerce).
  • Proven track record managing outsourced production, logistics, and 3PL partners.
  • Deep understanding of S&OP, forecasting, and inventory management principles.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills; able to turn data into actionable insights.
  • Hands-on operator comfortable rolling up sleeves to extract and analyze data independently.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable leading in a remote, cross-functional environment.

Salary & Benefits:

  • $140,000 to $160,000
  • 10% bonus
  • Fully remote position, with up to 25% travel
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Supportive culture: work alongside proven leaders known for cultivating genuine collaboration, trust, and transparency.
  • Meaningful impact: Play a key role in shaping our future, driving growth, and optimizing processes to support expansion.
