The Position:

Our client's culture is fast-paced, agile, and driven by problem-solvers. We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Marketing to lead and drive our client’s overall marketing vision. This executive will play a critical role in brand strategy, budget allocation and management, stakeholder engagement, and integrated marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring a data-driven mindset, exceptional leadership skills, and a strong background in budget optimization, cross-functional collaboration, and go-to-market strategy. The ideal candidate will be based in either Denver, Dallas, or Phoenix. 



Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership & Brand Development
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with business objectives, market position, and brand identity.
  • Lead brand positioning and storytelling to ensure a consistent, compelling message across all marketing channels.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to integrate marketing efforts across digital, retail, and traditional media.
  • Partner with product and sales teams to ensure marketing initiatives support revenue growth and customer acquisition.
  • Budget Management & Allocation
  • Oversee and manage the marketing budget to maximize ROI and efficiency across all campaigns.
  • Optimize budget allocation across various channels, including digital, traditional media, partnerships, and in-store activations.
  • Evaluate and implement cost-effective marketing strategies while maintaining high-impact brand engagement.
  • Leverage data analytics to measure performance, reallocate resources as needed, and drive continuous improvements.
  • Stakeholder & Vendor Management
  • Serve as the primary liaison between marketing, finance, product, and sales teams to ensure alignment on key business objectives.
  • Establish and strengthen relationships with key external partners, agencies, and vendors to drive marketing effectiveness.
  • Lead negotiations with advertising and media partners to secure optimal placement and rates.
  • Consumer Insights & Market Trends
  • Utilize consumer data, market research, and competitive analysis to inform marketing decisions and refine messaging.
  • Drive initiatives to deepen customer understanding, ensuring marketing strategies resonate with target demographics.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Team Leadership & Organizational Growth
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence.
  • Ensure a strong focus on professional growth and development within the team.
  • Champion the integration of new marketing technologies, data analytics, and AI-driven insights into marketing strategies.


Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of marketing experience with a proven track record of driving brand strategy, budget management, and stakeholder engagement in a high-growth, complex, and consumer-driven business.
  • Expertise in marketing budget management, including forecasting, allocation, and ROI analysis.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing and developing teams.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including agencies, vendors, and executive leadership.
  • Experience in consumer insights, market research, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills with a strategic mindset.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to align marketing initiatives with overall business goals.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of marketing technology (MarTech) stacks, marketing automation tools, and customer segmentation strategies.
  • Background in integrating digital and traditional marketing efforts to create a seamless consumer journey.
  • Comfortable in office 5 days of the week.


Salary & Benefits:

  • $200,000 - $300,000 BOE
