The Position:

Prevention Now is seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to use their passion for data with their expertise in partnership development, program management, and program design, monitoring, and evaluation to work in collaboration with our CEO. In this role, you will develop and steward partnerships with local nonprofits and state agencies, manage Prevention Now’s technical program, and help shape how Prevention Now consults with stakeholders to design, implement, and evaluate their programs.


This is a full-time, exempt (salaried) position.

  • Location: Remote, with core work hours of 9:00 am–3:00 pm PT. Must live and be able to work in the United States.
  • Travel: Requires regular U.S. travel, estimated at a minimum of 20%, with the possibility of more based on organizational needs.


Responsibilities:

Program Management

  • Lead the design and implementation for a portfolio of projects that apply advanced data analytics to address human trafficking through the lens of prevention in communities around the US.
  • Develop & manage work plans while ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of programs and projects, monitoring milestones, budgets, and internal and external stakeholder expectations.
  • Identify and address barriers to program execution, propose solutions, and communicate risks to the team and leadership.
  • Track and report on program progress, defining key performance indicators and driving continuous improvement.
  • Develop and manage project budgets in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Partner with the CEO to conduct research and landscape analysis of program needs, current market fit, and future opportunities.
  • Support strategic planning to align programs with organizational goals and mission.


Stakeholder Management

  • Identify, develop, and steward strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, local nonprofits, and state agencies in furtherance of program and organizational goals and priorities.
  • Lead internal cross-functional teams in program design, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Develop replicable processes and best practices in partnering with external nonprofit and governmental agencies.
  • Partner with internal teams to move opportunities from scoping through contracting and budgeting to launch.


Program Design and Evaluation

  • Develop and implement a Program Design consulting framework with external partner agencies.
  • Develop comprehensive program frameworks and evaluation methodologies using MERL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning) principles, to be used both internally and externally.


Qualifications:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (International Development, Public Health, Public Administration, or related).
  • 5+ years of progressive program management experience, with experience in international development or consulting preferred.
  • Proven track record of partnership development and stakeholder management with NGOs and government agencies.
  • Demonstrated experience developing project/program plans, including milestones, budgets, and stakeholder engagement rhythms.
  • Experience developing and leading projects with remote/distributed teams.
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating structured Program Design workshops and processes (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of monitoring and evaluation frameworks applied to diverse programming.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex, data-heavy material to non-technical stakeholders.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $70,000–85,000 (placement based on experience, education, and qualifications).
  • Employer-paid Health and Vision Insurance.
  • Flexible Paid Time Off, with a minimum number of days taken each year.
  • Company Holidays: 9 holidays observed, plus office closure Dec 24 – Jan 1.
