The Organization:
When a restaurant kitchen backs up at eleven in the morning, Biotech Solutions LLC is the first company many commercial kitchens call. Operating in the Denver metro area and the Front Range since 1991, Biotech serves more than 1,200 commercial kitchens, hospitals, schools, and properties. This team, comprised of eleven field technicians and a small office team, makes a real difference every day. The company changed hands in 2026, and the new owner is rebuilding the back office with updated field service software and technology, new processes, and a fractional CFO on the team.
The Position:
Biotech Solutions is seeking an ambitious, entrepreneurial recent college graduate for a hands-on Business Apprentice position—a multi-faceted role designed for someone eager to learn the inner workings of a growing business. This person will help manage customer accounts, sales, operations, dispatch support, and work alongside team members on core office workflows. We're looking for a proactive, self-motivated problem solver who can organize their own day and take ownership of tasks without direct supervision. This person thrives engaging directly with clients on the phone and is adaptable in a fast-paced team setting. This apprenticeship is built for someone who wants to understand how a company truly runs. You will gain direct exposure to operations, customer relations, and business administration.

-
Video File Management: Organize and manage video files from field inspections or service calls, ensuring they are properly attached to job records for quality assurance and customer transparency.
-

Finance & Sales Support
-
Bid Follow-Up: Actively manage our sales pipeline by following up on outstanding proposals at structured intervals (15/30/45/60 day close-out), ensuring no opportunity falls through the cracks and properly closing out old bids.
-
Invoicing & Receipts: Drive our revenue cycle by generating and sending out accurate tiered-service invoices promptly, alongside meticulously processing, posting, and reconciling customer receipts.
-
Daily Issue Review and Posting: Conduct daily reviews of field, operational, and billing issues, posting updates and ensuring swift resolutions in our software to maintain our high standard of service.
Executive Support & Special Projects
-
Executive Support: Provide direct, reliable assistance to the ownership team, helping to clear roadblocks and manage day-to-day details so they can focus on scaling the business.
-
Special Projects: Dive into special projects and adapt to other tasks as assigned—bringing a problem-solving mindset and a willingness to improve processes wherever the day takes you.
Qualifications:
- You want to understand how a small business actually runs, and you’re eager to take ownership of tasks without needing to be micromanaged.
- You are highly organized—you have a personal system for tracking details and managing multiple open loops without letting things slip.
- You are comfortable and steady on the phone, capable of maintaining a professional tone even with urgent or frustrated customers.
- You write clearly and professionally, whether you're sending an external email or a quick internal update.
- You are precise with numbers and data, understanding that accuracy in billing, expense coding, and receipt processing is critical to the business.
